There are LOTS of reasons to be excited about the Pool Spa Patio Expo in Dallas next week…
FINALLY! We get to meet face-to-face again, and enjoy the good times we haven’t had at an Expo in fully two years.
Naomi and I are looking forward to loading up the contents for our booth, and driving up to Dallas for what I know is going to be a busy, fun-filled week. If you’re going to the Expo, here are a few “must-do” items I suggest you put on your list:
See Brett and Naomi live at the Pool Builder Marketing LLC booth #1741. (Right across from PHTA and Genesis)
(I mention Naomi because I know that our booth popularity doubles when she is there.) You can schedule your free marketing evaluation from “The Doctors Of Pool Builder Marketing,” and together we’ll figure out how to read your touchless invisible badges that will be embedded inside your mobile phone. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Schedule and film your FREE 3-minute video at the CyberFunnels booth #3247.
CyberFunnels will have a green-screen studio and camera crew set up right there on the Expo floor. All you have to do is (1) schedule your appointment in advance, and (2) show up at booth 3247 on time. You can schedule your video session here.
See how the new MicroGlass Plaster Hardener technology (booth #1619) will simplify startups and maintenance, and extend the life of both old and new pool plaster and aggregates alike.
This is some pretty cool technology. It’s not some coating or sealant you apply, and hope it doesn’t wear off. This stuff actually goes inside the plaster to fill the voids and microcracks, and converts the soft sodium hydroxide into silicate glass. You’re likely to run into the industry-renowned pool plaster and aggregate experts Loren Granstrom and Alan Smith while you’re there. It’s right across from the Watershapes University booth.
Ever wished you could sell world-class, award-winning pools for big $$$? Master designer Joan Roca will show you how. Booth #1912 (near the front entrance.)
If you’ve been selling projects in the $50K to $250K range, and would like to double or triple the ticket on some of your projects, then Joan Roca is the man you need to talk to. Joan will show you how to (1) create a stunning, world-class design concept, (2) get the engineered construction drawings, and (3) expertly manage the project from start to finish so it comes out right the first time. And now YOU can be the most elite pool builder in town!
See how we use automation to pre-qualify and pre-sell prospects, so your designers can spend more time designing and closing sales instead.
WEDNESDAY, 7:30 AM, Rooms D222/D223/D224
In this annoyingly-early-morning class, we will focus on more than just pre-qualifying and pre-selling. We’ll show you how to let automation handle the repetitive, mundane tasks throughout your organization, before and after the sale, (and even during and after construction) so you can get more done without necessarily hiring more people, and/or driving your existing people to burnout.
And my timeless classic “7 Crucial Marketing Secrets Every Pool Builder Should Know.” If you sell inground pools, and haven’t seen this session before, you should definitely see it now.
WEDNESDAY, 9:15 AM, Rooms D222/D223/D224
In this fast-paced session, yours truly will share straight-shooting advice on the 7 key marketing strategies and tactics you really need to know, including your website, social media, pay-per-click, SEO, sales tools, referral strategies, and more. BONUS – You will ALSO discover what NOT to waste your money on anymore.
And don’t forget the free food and booze, both Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening.
TUESDAY, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
is the always-popular “Welcome Party.”
BONUS: You can get exclusive VIP early-access at 5:00 PM if you are (1) a first-time attendee at the Pool Spa Patio Expo, or (2) a member of the under-40 WAVE group with PHTA. Just make sure you REGISTER IN ADVANCE! (More info here.)
WEDNESDAY, 5:00 to 6:30 PM
it’s the “BBQ Bash”
right outside the Convention Center.
Great stuff will be grilled and smoked and served right there in the “Grill + Chill Area.” This is FREE for everyone, and I’m pretty sure registration is NOT required. All you have to do is walk outside and start eating! (More info here.)
And last but not least…
I said there are lots of great things happening at the Expo in Dallas next week. But the part I’m looking forward to the most is just seeing all the familiar faces again, after this annoying, unrequested two-year hiatus.
That’s why I really hope to see you there next week!
