Here’s that easy, low-cost SEO trick that actually WORKS…

(And fortunately, it’s not a “trick” at all.)

Years ago, most of us marketing experts figured out that having consistent and accurate listings on the many different “free directory listings” would boost your organic rankings with Google.

Google openly acknowledged they would reward companies with consistent listings (with better rankings on Google), and penalize (with lower rankings) any company that had inconsistent or nonexistent presences on these secondary directories.

That, of course, is in addition to having your business show up in the first place on all these secondary directories. I’m referring to directory websites such as Bing, Yelp, Facebook, MapQuest, City Search, Local.com, and at least thirty others, where someone might conduct a local search and find you. (Or NOT!)

I pushed this heavily six or seven years ago, because it would give my clients a nearly-instant boost in search engine rankings, for very low cost.

This was (and is) especially valuable if any of the following happened to you in the last 10 years:

  • You moved locations.
  • You changed phone numbers.
  • You changed your website URL.
  • You changed or modified your company name.

I stopped pushing this during the pandemic, because everybody was getting more leads than they could handle anyway.

But now that things are slowing down, I’m realizing every business owner should take another look at this, to make sure you aren’t unknowingly getting penalized by Google.

Fortunately, I still have a service that allows you to check this for FREE.

(Takes less than 60 seconds.)

If you’re not happy with the results, (i.e., you see a lot of errors), you can attempt to fix them yourself, one-by-one, by contacting each of the directory companies. (Tedious and time-consuming, for sure!) Or you can use our service, where we will take care of all of it for you.
